A Short Ramble Around Hincaster.
We took a short walk around Hincaster , taking in the Canal Tunnel horse path . - click on above photo to enlarge.
The sunken horse path has a couple of overpasses to take farm traffic, this one on the Eastern end .
The path itself- rather overgrown now.

It's an Ancient Monument !.
Hincaster Hall, a 16th century building - very impressive.

The modest village green at Hincaster . (The surrounding kerbs were the first line of kerbs I laid in my working carrier about 40 odd years ago ! - and they are still there !)
